There's A New Kid In Town
Jack is the new kid.
This is Daisy. She's the old pro. I made this doggie montage of Daisy a couple of years ago. She was in her prime back then and had everyone's undivided attention. She is much more mature now and all she asks for is a little bit of love.
Then along came Jack... aka Trouble.
Jack the puppy is full of energy and in search of adventure,
in other words he gets himself into "situations".
Today's "situation" involved a beautiful flower plant mistaken for a chew toy.
The only thing this little guy asks for is a treat and some good times.
Jack might be a handful but he sure is a cutie.
How can you say no to that face?

Bon appétit
The song is now playing in my head.
While eating dinner, I decided to take a quick photo of tonight's meal.
Everyone does it - I thought to myself - why not join in?
I'm such a follower.
This is also an opportunity to prove to myself and to anyone else wondering, that I eat healthy meals most of the time... well, I try. Unless there's a bag of Lay's lime potato chips in front of me. Like they say, you can't eat just one, until my tongue shrivels up after so many, then I know to stop.
Here is what I whipped up. It's pasta in Ragu Cheesy Classic Alfredo sauce, some BBQ chicken and veggies; broccoli, cauliflower, corn, zucchini, and fresh tomato; bread and jamaica juice.Yum! It's fast and easy to prepare.
Once again, excuse the blurry photo - I was too hungry to pull out the ipod to take a clear picture.
Bon appétit

Chocolate, Talk To Me!
My cardigan is almost complete but the shoulder seaming is giving me grief, not to mention it fits a bit snug around the bustline. Drats!
There were a few modifications made when I reached the shoulder bind-off. I tried following the pattern, but it just didn't feel right or look right. Then I remembered reading something about the sleeves on Leslie's blog....an error in the pattern...so, I went a huntin'. As it turns out, the hardcover first edition of Knit Cafe had a few mistakes throughout the book, but it seems that my mods were right on. Unfortunately, after seaming and getting lumpy results, I'm back to frogging.
To help me with my agony of defeat or desweater, I decided to prescribe myself a good dose of Lipstick Jungle Season 1 and 2.
Gawd, I love this show. I can't believe it was cancelled!
BTW, I found the pattern to one of the sweaters worn by Lindsay Price in Season 1, episode 6, and I spotted it on the Saks Fifth Avenue website. Yup, it was hundreds of $$$, but darn cute!

Weekend
On Sunday, I was feeling the ache in my back, neck, shoulders, and hands from my Saturday knitting marathon, but do you really think it put a halt to my madness? Noooo.
I'm trying to knit the cardigan without side seams. So far, so good. I clocked in many hours and 12" worth of knitting when suddenly I saw this... argh!
For the love of TheSweaterGod! It really bugs me when I buy yarn and then find a knot several yards into the skein. Do you see that hole? It was a knot that came undone while I was pulling and tugging at it. I came across it as I was knitting...thought about frogging back because I didn't want a knot in the middle of my sweater...but I kept on going.
Now I have no choice, and there is no solution other than to frog. BUT...on a positive note, I can start the new skein from the edge of my work instead of the middle. Thank heaven for small favors.
