Monday FO

My Twisted Rib Neckwarmer is D.O.N.E.
Details on my Ravelry page. :-)
And, true to character, I could not carry on fully knowing there was a small knitting error, especially when it was noticeable after the 12th rows. :-/

28 gazillion frogged stitches later, the finished FO made it all worth it. Now, I have to learn how to drape it, wrap it and twist it to be able to wear it properly.

I've decided to dedicate this month to all my wayward WIP's...the reindeer hat being one of them. Yup, that reindeer hat from way back in December... 2010 Olympics.
I've already made some modifications to the chart design and brim.
I decided to give it a picot edge and redesigned rows 4 -12.
The reason being, I didn't want a break in the yarn. After a few tweaks and many charts, I finally came up with one that worked for me. If anyone is interested in the new design, let me know and I will happily share it with you. Hopefully you can see it after clicking on the picture for a closer view.

I wanted to share something I started doing with my Clover bamboo needles. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing but,...
I started sharpening the tips of my circular needles with my old school pencil sharpener.
Does anyone else do this at home, or am I the only person with an OCD about pointy needles? Oh well, maybe it's just me. Like the saying goes, the cheese stands alone. Lol.
Anywhoooo, after sharpening the tips, I then use a light sandpaper to smooth out the roughness. Once smooth, I dip them in lavender oil. No real reason for the oil, I have it on hand and it smells pretty.
I really like the sharpness, unfortch, it also turned them into weapons.

Tonight is TV night. All my favorite shows are on. Hart of Dixie, Two and a Half Men, and DWTS, lots of channel hopping. Btw, David Arquette's little girl is adorable! She definitely has his personality.

Happy Monday night!
